Shipping Information

We offer a number of shipping options to fit your needs.With the exception of furniture and other oversized items, we ship to all US territories and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.Orders shipped to PO Boxes are sent via First-Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, and UPS SurePost. Unfortunately, we cannot offer express and/or overnight shipping for these locations.We also offer store pickup as an alternate shipping options. Orders will be shipped within 4-8 days, and you’ll receive a notification email when your order is ready for pickup. At this time, furniture and select items are unavailable for pickup at a store.

At checkout, we will provide you with an estimated delivery date for your order—this date will also be noted on your Order Confirmation email. This estimated delivery date includes processing time as well as extra time to account for weekends and/or national holidays. Express or overnight orders placed after 1 PM typically ship the next business day.Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling fees.Occasionally, items may be out of stock or backordered.Click here for more information about backorders and estimated delivery times.

As soon as we receive your order, we start working on it right away. While we’re unable to make changes to an order after it's placed, you do have a short window of about 30 minutes to cancel items before they begin processing. To see if your order is eligible for cancellation, review your order details by entering your order number and billing zip code.When cancelling eligible items, please note, all quantities of the selected item will be cancelled. If you do not see the “Cancel Items” option in the order details, we are unable to process a cancellation. However, once you have received your shipment, you may return or exchange any eligible items.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with a tracking number (be sure to check your spam folder). Please note that items are only officially charged to your selected method of payment once they have shipped.

Please check tracking information for the latest updates on your package's whereabouts. For standard shipping, if there haven't been any new tracking events after 7 days, please contact our service team. For expedited shipping, please reach out if your order has missed the expected delivery date.If your package is marked as delivered, but you have not are unable to located it, please first check the surrounding areas of the delivery location and allow two additional business days from the "delivery date" just in case the carrier is running behind. Occasionally, packages will be scanned ahead and marked "delivered" before the true delivery.Please note that all product-related issues, such as missing or damaged items/packages, must be reported within 30 days of the shipping date.

If an item is on backorder, an availability date will be shown on the product page and at checkout. You will be contacted via email regarding any changes to the status of backordered items in your order. You will not be charged for backordered items until they officially ship.In the event that a backordered item is part of your order, you may cancel items until they begin processing. To determine if your items are eligible for cancellation, review your order details.If an item is cancelled from your order for any reason, you will be notified via email and your method of payment will not be charged for the cancelled item.

Most Terrain stores also have a selection of furniture on display. If you are looking for a particular item, we recommend calling to see if your local store has any available to view.

Unfortunately, we do not offer samples or swatches at this time.

Unlimited Furniture Delivery items will arrive via White Glove, Threshold, or Doorstep Delivery Service. You will enjoy one flat-rate delivery fee for all eligible styles. Orders containing more than one Unlimited Furniture Delivery item will be consolidated and delivered together. If you prefer to receive your items as they become available, please contact our furniture specialists after submitting your order.

Furniture will arrive 1-3 weeks after your order is in stock and available to ship. Delivery methods, timing, and fees vary from item to item, so be sure to check individual product pages for delivery specifics. Learn more about Unlimited Furniture Delivery here.

Furniture and other oversized items are unable to ship to US territories, Alaska, Hawaii, islands within the continental US, PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and locations outside of the US. Other oversized home items will ship via ground services and are subject to standard shipping charges. Additional handling surcharges may apply.

Some items may be eligible for multiple flat-rate delivery options. Please be sure to check individual product pages for delivery specifics.

We are happy to provide three Unlimited Furniture Delivery services. Availability varies by item.

Our White Glove Delivery service includes delivery to your room of choice, as well as unpacking, assembly (excluding chandeliers, mirrors, bath vanities, and hanging furniture), and debris removal. Once your items are with our carrier, you will receive an email that outlines how to schedule a delivery.

Threshold Delivery is available for select items and includes delivery to the first accessible area inside your home. Assembly and debris removal are not included.

Doorstep Delivery is available for select items and includes in-box delivery to your front door. There is no need to schedule a delivery or provide a signature. You will receive an email 1 to 2 days prior notifying you of your scheduled delivery date. For multi-unit buildings, items will be placed in a secure lobby area or with a building attendant. Please note, you are responsible for bringing items into your home. Assembly and debris removal are not included.

Please note that our delivery partners are unable to take or move furniture that you are replacing. Please plan accordingly!

Unlimited Furniture Delivery item(s) eligible for White Glove and Threshold delivery services will be ready to ship on or around the estimated availability date quoted upon order placement and also in your order confirmation email. From time to time these dates may change based on item availability. Once your items are with our carrier, you will receive an email that outlines how to schedule a delivery. Please contact our furniture specialists if you have any questions regarding your ready-to-schedule date.Doorstep Delivery items are delivered in-box to your front door. There is no need to schedule a delivery or provide a signature. You will receive an email 1 to 2 days prior notifying you of your scheduled delivery date. As you prepare for your White Glove Delivery, please clear a path to the room(s) of your choice and the space where furniture will be placed prior to delivery, as the delivery team cannot move your existing furniture. We also suggest protecting anything that may be susceptible to damage, such as floors, furniture or entryways. We recommend that you move pets to a separate room.

We do not recommend treating your Terrain furniture or décor with any additional cleaning or protective products. Please reference the care instructions provided on each item's product page to learn how to best care for your product.

Terrain fabrics are resistant to UV damage and fading. Our fabrics have UV blocking agents applied which protect against prolonged exposure to sunlight, wind, rain and humidity. Our fabrics have gone through a special treatment to reduce the fabric absorption of soil and stains – keeping fabric looking clean fresh, and new. Our fabric is also water repellent.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns or exchanges must be accompanied by an original sales receipt or with a successful receipt lookup.For all non-plant products returned within 30 days, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment at the original selling price. If returned after 30 days, a merchandise credit for the original selling price will be issued. After one year, we will no longer accept returns or exchanges. For online orders, the window for returns and exchanges will be determined by the delivery date of the shipped items.Furniture items may not be returned in stores. You can return your items at any of our store locations or by mail using a printed shipping label or mobile return code. Please note that some items require a certain return method; please refer to our full return policy for these specifics.If you would like to skip the packaging and postal fees, locate a store near you to return in-person with the help of our associates. Items purchased online or in-store cannot be returned to the Anthropologie Home Outlet or Anthropologie pop-up locations.When returning by mail, sign into your account, select Order History, then locate and select the order you wish to return or exchange. Guest orders and orders received as gifts may be found by checking your Order Status. Once you've located your order, select Start a Return or Exchange and follow the instructions to print your shipping label. No printer? No problem. Just select the mobile return code instead. Show the return code at a UPS Store and they'll print the label for you.

Return labels are only available for orders shipping to the continental US and no additional postage is required. However, a $5.95 shipping charge will be deducted from your refund unless you are processing an exchange. Please note, shipping fees are non-refundable. Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for processing. Additional delays may occur. You will receive an email notification when your return has been processed (be sure to check your spam folder).Unlimited Furniture Delivery items cannot be returned using a return label. If you have an Anthropologie account, sign in, select Order History, then locate and select the order you are experiencing an issue with. Guest orders and orders received as gifts may be found by checking your Order Status.Once you've located your order, select Submit Claim and follow the instructions to share your experience.All claims are reviewed and processed by our team within 72 business hours. You will receive an email regarding the outcome of your claim.

Most returns will process in approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on your method of return. Additional delays may occur. For a faster refund, your return label and return slip should correspond with the items in your package. Please process and mail multiple returns individually.If we receive your items within our return window, your refund will be applied to the original method of payment and will post approximately 1-3 business days after the processing date. If we receive your items outside of the return window, a merchandise credit will be sent to the email address used for the purchase. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. Gift card purchases will be refunded in the form of a merchandise credit.Be sure to obtain a tracking number, and a receipt from the carrier, for your records.Please note: Terrain is not responsible for shipping fees, lost returns, or non-Terrain items shipped back to us in error. Yes, it most certainly can. If you make a return in store, let the store associate know your preferred method of refund. We are unable to process returns at our warehouse for items purchased at a Terrain store.If you are making a return by mail, select Order Status to print out a return label. Select GIFT when processing your return to receive an e-gift card. The original order number and billing zip code is required to process your gift return. If you don't have this information, please contact us.

Price Adjustments If you have purchased items that are now on sale, we will gladly offer you a one–time price adjustment on full-price purchases only. Please contact us with an original sales receipt within 14 days of original sales purchase.For online or phone orders, please contact us. We do not offer price adjustments on shipping charges.For store purchases, please contact or stop by your local store. Visit our store locator to find the location nearest you.If your item(s) have already shipped, your price adjustment refund will post to the original payment method in approximately 1-3 business days after the processing date. If your item(s) have not yet shipped, your order total will reflect the refund when you are charged. You can return online orders by mail or at a store, as long as they are accompanied by an original sales receipt or with a successful receipt lookup. Use the Start A Return link located in the footer on our website. Enter the order number and the billing zip code that was used to place the order.The order number can be found on the shipping label on the outside of the packaging. If you're unable to locate this number, please contact us. with the gift giver's name and/or email address and we'll be happy to help.Make sure to select the e-merchandise credit option and enter the email address you wish for it to be sent to once the return has been received.In-store purchases may be returned to any store location for merchandise credit. Locate a store near you to confirm business hours. Please note that merchandise purchased in our stores cannot be returned via mail.


Mobile Authentication Login & Account Creation

Your security and safety are very important to us. We require verified mobile phone number for login to help ensure the only person able to log into your account is you. Plus, no more passwords to reset or remember!Standard message & data rates may apply.

At this time adding a mobile number to an existing account is optional. However, we strongly recommend adding mobile authentication to improve the overall security of your account. We will eventually require mobile number authentication for all customers, but you have some time before that change goes into effect.

If you are requesting a code via email, please allow up to 5 minutes for the code to be delivered to your inbox (check your spam folders, too!). Codes delivered via SMS should be sent immediately.Still experiencing issues? Make sure you are logging in to an existing account. If the code you requested has still not arrived, you may not have an account linked to that email address. Please create an account, and request a code once more.

Be sure you are using the most recently requested code. If your code came through SMS it is only valid for 5 minutes. If you received via email, it is valid for 15 minutes.

In order to protect your account, we have a limit on the number of times you can request or submit a code for login. Make sure you are logging in to an existing account. If the code you requested has not arrived, you may not have an account linked to that email address. Please create an account or try again in 15 minutes!

If your mobile number has changed since creating your account, please sign in to your account using your email address and the one-time code sent to your inbox. Once logged into your account, visit My Account to edit your mobile number.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Afterpay, Link and Terrain and Anthropologie gift cards and e-gift cards issued in USD.Terrain Cafe Gift Cards can be redeemed in Terrain Cafe locations only and cannot be used online or in stores.Retail Gift Cards + E-Gift Cards Terrain gift cards can be redeemed or purchased online or in our store locations. E-gift cards may be purchased online and will be emailed to your recipient. Retail gift cards can be used in Terrain stores and nurseries and online. Terrain Cafe Gift Cards can be purchased online.Please note: All gift cards and e-gift cards are only valid for redemption in the currency they were originally purchased.Cafe Gift Cards Terrain Cafe gift cards can be purchased online and in Terrain Cafes. Terrain Cafe Gift Cards can be redeemed in Terrain Cafe locations only and cannot be used online or in stores.Payment Issues If your payment method was declined, it may have been unsuccessful due to incorrect information, card expiration, or insufficient funds. Gift cards and e-gift cards can be redeemed online or in US stores. Visit our Store Locator to find the store(s) nearest you.If you are experiencing difficulties entering your gift card, or have a gift card without a pin, please call our Gift Card line (1-800-920-5656) and allow 24-48 business hours for a response.


Store Pickup

Want something sooner? Pick up your online selections in person at a store! Here's how: When you find an item you'd like to purchase on shopterrain.com, select a size and color to see availability at a store near you. Add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout. Once in checkout, select "Pick Up" as the ship method, and finalize the Pickup location.At this time, furniture and select items are unavailable for pickup at a store.

Shortly after placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email that details your item(s), shipping and payment methods. This does not mean your order is ready to be picked up. You'll receive a separate notification email when your order is ready at your selected store. Remember to check your junk e-mail and add terrain@st.shopterrain.com to your address book to ensure you receive notifications. Wait for this notification before heading to the store!

Once every item in your order is ready for pickup, your order will be held for four days. Orders not picked up within this timeframe will be cancelled, and your method of payment will not be charged.If you need to schedule a 24-hour extension, please contact us directly at 877.583.7724.

Please bring your order confirmation email (print out or show on your mobile device). You may also have someone else pick up your order, so long as they bring the order confirmation.

Your method of payment will not be charged until your order is picked up. While you may see a pre-authorization on your selected method of payment prior to pick up, this will not post to your account until you have retrieved your order.

Good news! Gift wrap can be added to eligible items once in your basket. Look for the gift box icon and select your preferred gift wrap option. Don’t forget to add a gift message at checkout!If you do not see the gift box icon, unfortunately, your item is not eligible for gift wrap services.

Add (and save) a gift message at checkout to ensure your package includes a packing slip. Terrain packing slips are sent without prices and can be used as gift receipts.
