Commonly known as Persian lily, Fritillaria persica thrives in full sun to partial shade. Blooming from late spring to early summer, it produces bell-shaped plum flowers atop stiff stems adorned with greyish green, sword-shaped leaves. Best planted in groups, its dark spikes create dramatic contrast against rocks or among vibrant tulips.
