Tendergreen is the classic green snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris). A fast growing heirloom that produces succulent stringless pods that are great for eating raw off the plant or lightly streamed or stir-fried. Plant mid-to-late summer and try to keep the plants going for beans on Thanksgiving! In colder fall climates, plant earlier in the summer. Harvest frequently for sustained yield. A bush bean: plants do not require support or trellising.
