The gua sha tool has been a part of traditional Chinese medicine and skincare for thousands of years. Crafted from jade to have a firming, lifting effect on the skin, this massaging tool helps improve skin's radiance and blood circulation while also helping to reduce puffiness. Keep in the refrigerator for a cooling effect!
How to use: Start with clean skin that's been prepped with a facial oil or serum. Keep the tool flat against the face on the long side and begin with the forehead. Scrape in an upward motion from the eyebrows to the hairline. Move to the cheeks and scrape in an outwards motion starting from the crease of the nose to the ear. Move to the jawline and using the double-edged side, move from the chin to the ear. For the under-eye area, gently scrape the tool from the inner corner of the eye outwards to the temple.
About Mount Lai: Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, Mount Lai is inspired by founder Stephanie Zheng's grandmother, who has been using these tools for over fifty years. Mount Lai is dedicated to creating everyday rituals for radiant skin.
