Often referred to as the pot marigold (Calendula officinalis), the calendula is a classic favorite for English cottage gardens. Calendula petals are often used in food and as a skincare ingredient. Makes for a great long-lasting cut flower; vase not included.
-Fresh calendula bunch
-Upon arrival, cut 1-2” from bottom of stems at a 45 degree angle with sharp knife or pruners. Remove foliage so that no leaves are under water
-Place in 3-4" of cool water
-Flowers that arrive in bud will open in 2-3 days
-To prolong life, change water and trim stems every other day
-Avoid heat and direct sunlight
