Each Fisher Blacksmithing heritage garden tool is hand-forged in Tuli Fisher's Bozeman, Montana workshop. This timeless trowel can be used for everything. Built this trowel to be simple and sturdy, reminiscent of what you might find in your grandparents garden or farm shed. The wide blade holds a lot of soil and the pointed shape allows you to use it in the field as well. The subtle patina and refined hardwood handle give it a modern flair. I forge the blade from abrasive resistant steel. All tools are made by hand using traditional blacksmithing techniques. The steel patina is a result of the heat from the forging process and varies from piece to piece. Each handle is made of black walnut and turned on a wood lathe.
Care tips: Rinse and clean the tool with water and a stiff brush. Wipe dry and store inside. Wipe down both the steel and handle with linseed oil a couple times every year.
