Fisher Blacksmithing Garden Tools, Set of 3

Style No. 78909454; Color Code:

Each Fisher Blacksmithing heritage garden tool is hand-forged in Tuli Fisher's Bozeman, Montana workshop. Includes 1 hand rake, 1 trowel, 1 square-head hoe. All tools are made by hand using traditional blacksmithing techniques. The steel patina is a result of the heat from the forging process and varies from piece to piece. Each handle is made of black walnut and turned on a wood lathe.

Garden hoe: Squared-off head so it can be easily re-sharpened. The curve creates a perfectly balanced point that allows the weight of the tool to work with both the gardener and garden, rather than against. A go-to essential to get rid of stubborn weeds.

Trowel: With a wide blade that holds a lot of soil and the pointed shape allows you to use it in the field too. The subtle patina and refined hardwood handle give it a modern flair. Simple and sturdy, reminiscent of what you might find in your grandparents garden or farm shed.

Hand rake: The carefully-bent side tines flare slightly below the ferrule creating a beautiful, fleur de lis image. The solid steel rivets are set horizontally to the direction of pressure providing additional stability for the rake. The tines of the rake are great for working with ornamental grasses and other weeds that have shallow, rhizomes or runner-type growth

Care tips: Rinse and clean the tool with water and a stiff brush. Wipe dry and store inside. Wipe down both the steel and handle with linseed oil a couple times every year.
