Responsibly harvested off the coast of the Philippines, this pure silk sea sponge is perfect for gentle face exfoliation. Naturally occurring minerals like calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, zinc, and potassium that are contained in sea sponges nourish and benefit the skin. Sea sponges are a naturally renewable resource. When sponges are harvested, the sponge divers hand-cut each sponge to ensure that more than one inch of the base remains intact. The sponge then re-grows back to its original form within 3-5 years. Studies show that areas harvested actually increase the population density of sponges. Your sponge can last years if taken care of properly.

How to Use: Wet sponge and apply gentle circular motions on wet, soapy skin to buff away dead skin cells and dirt. Rinse and moisturize as normal.

About Nash and Jones: Founder Kim Rohwer started Nash and Jones out of necessity. After having kids and becoming more invested in the skincare products she was using for herself and her children, she realized many of her favorites contained harsh, ineffective, or unnatural ingredients. Thus, the Nash and Jones line was born, with a high-quality selection of naturally-derived skincare products and responsibly-sourced accessories.

- Pure silk sea sponge
- Every few weeks, soak your sponge in 1 cup warm water with 1 tablespoon baking soda for 15 minutes. Then rinse and let dry. The baking soda cleans the sponge as well as revitalizes its cellular structure, increasing durability
- After each use, hang sponge to dry completely. Do not keep in the shower
-To disinfect your sponge: soak it in 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide and 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar) in 1 cup of warm water, or 3 drops of tea tree oil in 1 cup of warm water
- Never place your sponge in boiling water, a dryer, or the microwave. This will make your sponge hard.
- Do not use bleach, this will weaken your sponge
- Do not twist or pull your sponge, this will tear it.
- If your sponge starts getting ragged, trim off the loose pieces with a pair of scissors
- Imported
