IMPORTANT NOTE: By law, we cannot ship boysenberry vines to Indiana.

The boysenberry is a variety of blackberry; it's possible it's a cross between a blackberry and a loganberry or a raspberry. The boysenberry fruit is dark red with a sweet, tangy flavor that is perfect for canning and preserving. Always harvest your boysenberries in the morning when they are fully ripe (dark purple-ish red) and be aware that they don't last long after you harvest them (it's preferable to eat or process them the same day you've harvested them!). Harvest time is usually between July and August. This vine can be trained along a trellis or railing.

Outdoor planted care: Plant in full sun into the ground or into at least a 20" diameter container in well draining soil. Water thoroughly throughout the first year.
