A Plant Press Keepsake

Sized for preserving an abundance of flowers and foliage, the large bloom plant press is becoming our holiday favorite for creating one-of-a-kind gifts. We've been pressing simple groupings of fresh cuts, then framing the results as a colorful keepsake for friends and hostesses. We pressed a variety of fern fronds, then arranged them neatly to take the shape of a tiny fir forest. Before gifting, we placed our preserved greens inside a brass specimen frame, then paired it with an adjustable stand for easy display. You could also fill a frame with a friend's favorite flowers, cuttings from a garden they love, or herb sprigs for a kitchen accent.
