Design by Terrain: Pinecone Place Card Holders

As we prepare for the holiday entertaining season, we’re coming up with new ways incorporate unexpected, natural elements into our tablescapes. Place cards are one of our favorite touches, sure to charm guests when held in a lustrous, painted cedar cone like the one above. We also love the idea of using a sprig of evergreen or fresh rosemary on each plate as a final flourish to welcome guests to the table, or printing names on freshly pressed fall leaves in metallic ink. With nature, the possibilities are truly endless!
