Preserving Summer Blooms
Midsummer brings out the best in our flower gardens, and a fresh arrival is making it simple to preserve the bounty of the season to enjoy throughout the year. Sized for large-scale blooms, our newest plant press was used to create the botanical artwork above, displayed inside brass specimen frames. Our stylists said, "We chose purple dahlias and sunny cosmos to create our pressed flower display. Other big, bold blooms that are ideal for preserving in a plant press include larger varieties of Passiflora (also known as passion flower), hibiscus, and Queen Anne's lace."
