Hazelnut Frothy Coffee with Terrain Cafe's Steve Linneman


You’ve seen it—that Instagram-ready coffee beverage that looks more like a milkshake than your morning cup. Dalgona coffee (or “frothy coffee” as it’s been nicknamed) combines sugar, hot water, instant coffee, and milk to a satisfyingly whipped, deliciously sweet effect. Today, our culinary director, Steve Linneman, is sharing his nutty spin on the drink that’s been breaking the internet over the last several weeks.

Hazelnut Frothy Coffee
Makes 1 drink

2 tbsp granulated instant coffee
½ tsp sugar
2 tbsp hot water
1 cup ice cream
Handful of hazelnuts
Drizzle of Hazelnut Coffee Syrup

Combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a medium bowl. Whisk until frothy. This might take awhile! Spoon the mixture over your favorite ice cream. Add toasted hazelnuts. Drizzle with Hazelnut Coffee Syrup and enjoy!
