A Fall Foliage Terrarium
As a season of gatherings begins, the talented folks from our Styer's visual display team are dressing up the table with fall-inspired "forever terrariums"-- long-lasting arrangements of preserved botanicals and curios that don't require a green thumb. Display Coordinator Suzie A. filled the cloche above with metallic leaves and dried blooms that will retain their beauty through fall and beyond. We can't wait to show off our own forever terrariums on the table and mantel, or give them as hostess gifts at autumn get-togethers.
Suzie says, "The forever terrarium is a centerpiece of this year's harvest tablescapes. For this terrarium, I used a Pressed Metal Leaf Garland along with preserved ferns, foliage and vines, enclosed within our Fluted Bell Cloche and Habit + Form Tart Tray. To begin the arrangement, I placed a small amount of floral foam in the tray and used it to anchor the preserved items. Next, I added the garland and stabilized it by wrapping a few of its leaves around the preserved finds. Finally, I tucked everything into the cloche. If you'd like to add some height to your display, you can place the whole terrarium on a Footed Plant Stand."
