Digging into Spring
Sunny weather helped us welcome spring on Saturday at our annual Dig into Spring Festival. This year, we drew inspiration from Holland's tulip festivals as we greeted the season with marketplace of local vendors, fresh treats from the café, activities for little ones, and fresh ideas for outdoor living. More than 30 vendors joined us for the spring market, including Happy Cat Organics, Lily B. & Co. jewelry, Child of the Wolf Vintage, Mott 50, Ilse Jacobsen, Peg and Awl, Saint Lucifer Spices, Organic Mechanics, Doe Run Dairy, Crisp & Co. Pickles, and many more.
For kids and adults alike, the newly-hatched chicks and baby goats brought by Doe Run Dairy were a festival highlight. Visitors also found inspiration for spring gardening with a display of Gold Medal Plants from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and complimentary design consultations with the terrain landscape team. While snacking on freshly-grilled pizzas from the cafe, visitors also enjoyed Farmaesthetics facials in the spa, made backyard bouquets with Philly florist Love 'n Fresh Flowers, and kept the kids entertained with handmade birdhouses, bug bingo, and garden-inspired treats. We couldn't think of a better way to kick off our favorite time of the year.
