A Day of Good Cheer

On November 22nd, both terrain stores hosted our annual Holiday Open House to kick off the Christmas season. In Glen Mills, a holiday marketplace featured favorite vendors like the Farm at Doe Run, Galer Winery, Crisp & Co. Pickles, and John & Kiras Chocolates, while Westport welcomed trunkshows from Frances Palmer, Elizabeth Gillett, Emily Amey, and Will Leather Goods. Both stores offered tastings of our sweetest holiday treats, seasonal workshops, crafts for little ones, and pie samplings from the Garden Café. Visitors could sample pies for pre-order, with a number of holiday varieties including honey sea salt, maple bourbon, and perennial favorites like pumpkin.

In Glen Mills, friend of terrain Sweet Paul stopped by for a book signing, while Westport customers met beauty maven Indie Lee for  relaxing spa masks. At both stores, the festivities ended with tree lighting ceremonies complete with hot chocolate and carols. After the festival, Westport attendees had a chance to sit down for dinner with two local tastemakers-- author Stephen Orr and ceramic artist Frances Palmer.

10% of the proceeds from the day were donated to the Natural Lands Trust in Glen Mills and The Garden Conservancy in Westport. Above, take a peek at our photographer's shots from the event.
