Though Valentine's Day is usually an occasion to celebrate with a significant other, we also find ourselves thinking about all the people we love this time of year. With that in mind, we teamed up with Brooklyn floral designer Ariel Dearie, who made the petite bouquets above. Ariel says, "These would be a perfect gift for your sister, friend, or mother. They're a small and sweet way to let someone know you are thinking of them." Moving away from the holiday's traditional reds and whites, Ariel created a soft, natural palette that's reminiscent of Victorian Valentine's Day cards using dusty roses, jasmine, and geranium leaf with spirea and white scabiosa as highlights. To make your own arrangement, Ariel suggests choosing one or two focal flowers and accentuating them with interesting foliage. Pair the bouquet with a unique vase for a gift that feels sweet and simple, yet special.
