Behind the Scenes: Willowdale Steeplechase

We don't often get to share the spaces where our photoshoots take place, but we couldn't pass up some beautiful outtakes from a recent shoot at The Willowdale Steeplechase in Kennett Square, PA. Founded in 1993 by horseman W.B. Dixon Stroud Jr., the steeplechase was once a 160-acre dairy farm in the heart of Cheshire Hunt County. Each May, riders and fans gather for a day of races, with ticket sales benefitting the Stroud Water Research Center, Quest Therapeutic Services, and the New Bolton Center. No horses were on hand during our shoot, but we loved exploring the autumn landscape and historic buildings of the former farm.
