An Uncanny Cocktail


When we recently found out that one of our own was an amateur mixologist, we knew we had to enlist his expertise for a terrain-style cocktail, served up in Weck for summer. Nothing too fussy, but one that we'd be equally excited to serve for garden brunches and casual evenings on the porch. Inspired by the fragrance and color of our summer rose gardens, we don't mind saying that the resulting Wecked Rose, lightly sweet with homemade raspberry reduction and splashed with rose water, is as lovely to sniff as it is to sip.

And for your before-noon enjoyment, we've also offered up our favorite garden spritzer and flavored water for refreshment amidst the dog days.
