An Heirloom Harvest

This Saturday at Styer's, we enjoyed a sunny afternoon in the garden as we celebrated summer's favorite crop-- the heirloom tomato. Our Heirloom Tomato Festival featured a wide array of tomato dishes to sample, from spicy Bloody Marys to the delicious entries in our staff salsa competition. We also enjoyed the company of some local friends, including musician Chris Bruni, the tomato gurus of Happy Cat Farm, and our favorite cheesemakers from Doe Run Dairy.  In case you missed the festivities at Styer's, we're holding another Heirloom Tomato Festival in Westport on Saturday, August 24! Join us for an afternoon of recipe tastings, garden crafts, music, and more, followed by our chef's special heirloom tomato tasting menu in the cafe.
