A Year in the Garden

When we installed hanging hayrack gardens at Styer's last winter, we knew they would become a long-time favorite in our landscape. Throughout the seasons, we've enjoyed watching our hayracks blossom with purple verbena in spring and a flourishing crop of annuals including coleus, bougainvillea, cordyline, calibrachoa, petunia, and pennisetum throughout the summer and fall. This winter, we're thinking of filling each rack with fresh-cut, seasonal greens as we await the arrival of a new spring planting. Take a peek, above, at our vertical gardens' first year. We can't wait to see what the next season brings!
