3 Fresh Doorstep Décor Alternatives for the Season

While we’ll always love the classic look of a simple evergreen wreath hung on the front door, there’s something so modern and fresh about turning that tradition on its head with something unexpected. Our creative photo stylist Beth Clevenstine did just that with these three beautiful door moments with some of our new décor pieces paired with just a few foraged and preserved elements. Read on to hear her inspiration behind each one!

Sleigh Bell Branches: An elevated fall twist on a classic sleighbell look, this chic, festive doorstep moment uses just three elements in a statement making way. While we love the elegant droop of the olive branch here, you could substitute a branch with a nice line and autumnal color to downplay the holiday feeling. Go out to explore what’s in your backyard!

Wild Harvest: Our inspiration here was a foraged fall meadow, abundant with seasonal blooms, branches, and natural elements. Simple and endlessly adaptable—when you’re ready for a more wintry feel, take out the more neutral tones and add winterberry with some Eastern pine.

Forest Floor: This transitional fall look incorporates green amaranth, pinecones, velvet ribbon, foraged grasses, pine, and wild berry in a way that feels effortless and natural, as if you just plucked the elements from nature. Feel free to play with different colors and textures to update the look through the holidays and seasons. Dried tree hydrangea would look great in place of the amaranth and berries, for instance.
