A. Hello, There?s nothing that would be harmful about using the popcorn popper over a gas stove, but the shape/design of the item might make it awkward to use over a stove. Also it?s not balanced in a way that it would rest flat on the stove burner which would affect the heat transfer to the popper. Best, terrain
