Wild Foraging Walk & Cooking Demo with the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County

Join a member of the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County at Bucktoe Creek Preserve, to walk the local woods foraging for fall’s native edible plants. Then, bring your bounty to terrain for a cooking demonstration and tasting of edibles picked on the walk.
The walk will take place from 9A-11A at the The Bucktoe Creek Preserve, 432 Sharp Road, Avondale PA 19311. Participants will then be invited to join us at terrain for a cooking demonstration at 1P.

Canal House Launch Luncheon

Join authors and chefs Melissa & Christopher of Canal House Cooking, for a special lunch they will prepare in anticipation of their upcoming cookbook release. A seat at the table with the ladies of Canal House will include lively conversation and a delicious seasonal meal.
Space is limited, reservations are required. $25 per person. Cost includes a special lunch with Canal House and one signed copy of Canal House Cooking, Volume 7, Dolce Vita.

Autumn Bounty Festival

Welcome the season of colored leaves, ripe gourds, and an evening around the campfire, at our annual Autumn Bounty Festival. The afternoon will be full with pumpkin carving, crafting, kids' face painting, and a special lunch with the ladies of Canal House Cooking - all in celebration of the season's bountiful harvest.
More reason to celebrate? 10% of the day's retail sales will be donated to the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County.
